Key Patrol™ and its affiliates ("Key Patrol AirKey™ Auto" or the "Company") furnish technology services to automotive dealership partners via a wireless/mobile network cellular gateway employing IoT and related technologies, including integrated sensor and location information components (collectively "Services"). In the course of operations, Key Patrol™ gathers information encompassing your vehicle's mileage, travel direction, coordinates, and other pertinent data ("Vehicle Information").
Moreover, this Privacy Policy aims to elucidate the nature of information collection. Key Patrol™ collects, stores, and shares your Vehicle Information to facilitate communication between you and the dealerships procuring the Services, alongside other affiliated third parties connected to or associated with Key Patrol AirKey™ Auto, as well as with Key Patrol AirKey™ Auto's trusted business partners and service providers, in adherence to suitable confidentiality and safeguarding protocols.
Key Patrol™ retains the right to transfer or lease your Vehicle Information to business partners and independent third parties, providers of the Services, its dealership partners, and affiliates. Vehicle Information may be shared by Key Patrol™ when mandated by law or reasonably believed to be necessary to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, criminal or technical issues, including enforcement of the Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy. Key Patrol™ will exercise due prudence, diligence, and care in determining the dissemination, transmission, or communication of Vehicle Information with the Services' providers, partners, and any other third party.
Communication pertaining to Vehicle Information may ensue through various channels such as regular mail, telephone, email, text message, SMS, or other electronic, physical, or audio messaging media, or via the in-vehicle communication system or through the Key Patrol™ website and/or applications (apps). Notification to your dealership or Key Patrol™ is advised when anticipating the sale, transfer, or disposal of your vehicle. Key Patrol™ refrains from sharing personally identifiable information or collecting data based on sensitive categories, such as race, religion, sexual orientation, or health.
Key Patrol™ implements systems, applications, and procedures to fortify Vehicle Information security, mitigate the risk of theft, damage, information loss, or other unauthorized access or use.
California Privacy Rights. If you are a California resident, you retain the right to request information from Key Patrol™ concerning how it shares certain categories of information with third parties. California law stipulates that you are entitled to receive information regarding the categories of information disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the previous calendar year, including the names and addresses of recipients.
